The American Dream

Check out this amazing 30 minute animated film about our fraudulent monetary system. I can't recommend this enough for everyone as it is just so accessible, relevant, humorous and inspiring. Can you imagine if the content of your typical half-hour television show was this enlightening?

The American Dream shows how you've been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system. All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away. Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day? The American Dream takes an entertaining but hard-hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have today.

American Dream? A house, a dog. Who came up with that? If you go to the internet archive, you can dig up all these nice social programming videos they played to school children in the 50s.

Willy Wonka: [grabbing Veruca's mouth and pinching it a bit to hold it open] *We* are the music makers... and *we* are the dreamers of dreams.

The illusion is important. It keeps people from reverting to their base instincts. You may slowly be learning the futility of advocating a vegan diet. You know how willfully ignorant people can be. This kind of control is important, the illusion is important.

Awesome!!! Thanks for posting. It's great they put everything into the simplest layman's terms that anybody could understand. Lovin that! Reminds me of the Einstein quote "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

"Waking Up From The American Dream"

this was the title, I almost named my blog....I've actually considered using the name for a book.

The American dream is just that, where all dreams are...in your head. It's basically how they advertise everything. People literally worship money in this country. Look at the ones that commit suicide when they go broke, they just don't know what to do with themselves. In America it's all about "buying" happiness.

In the end it's like what Ray Liotta tells Johnny Depp in the movie "Blow" where he says 'money's not everything son, it's just paper'.
