I agree completely. I personally use a Mayan Lunar calendar instead of Gregorian, and I don't even own a watch or cell phone. I also agree that as "time" speeds up, it is our responsibility to go slower and slower. If I am not mistaken, I believe it was the Church who were the first to automotize 'peasants' away from an organic sense of time by placing clocks on the churches!<BR/><BR/>Someone should make a film about this momentous event. I would go and see it.<BR/><BR/>'Holidays' were 'Holy days' 'allowed' by the oppressors as a small relief from the machine indoctrination. And that continues as we sadly know. But now it is even worse if possible. because the machine creeps into the very holodays in the form of various gadgets--cell phones, etc--all geared to reminding the unfortunate<BR/>'time-wasters' of TIME. <BR/><BR/>I remember reading hos this Native American elder was talking to the youth, and he said: "Time is going to go faster and faster and faster (meaning the impoistion of the modern world into their indigenous ways) so you must go slower and slower and slower"<BR/><BR/>I try and live that great wisdom. It is vital to understand that we have the power of choice NOT to be sucked into this time obsessed machine.
