Danny Shine - Hugging Police at G20

Here is Danny Shine from Everything is OK at G20 protests last year hugging policemen, radiating his peace/love energy, explaining to them and the crowd, that we are all on the same side.

"What these police need, what government ministers need, is love. That's why they're in the job. You see, they get it by negative attention. But when you give them positive attention, it gets a bit scary." -Danny Shine

I have no idea who this guy is but he sounds like a major nitwit if he actually believes those words applied to those people.

Maybe he is very important and significant but... er.... I read that same line about love and kindness applied to Tzipi Livni and Ariel Sharon last week, defending their actions to the Palestinians.

Sorry, nitwit time. Sarcastic I may be. Beam me up!

He's not defending or excusing the abhorrent actions of the police and government ministers. He's standing up to them and exposing the illusion that it's them against us. We are all on the same side, and world peace will not come with a "fuck the police" mindset, it will come with a "love the police" show them our humanity, see yourself in them, hugging mindset.
