The Dutch Freedom Parade

The Dutch Freedom Parade was a big success spreading messages of love, peace, and freedom through humor. I'm amazed and encouraged to see entire streets full of shoppers stopping dead in their tracks mezmerized and interested by the positive, enlightening energy emanating from the marching crowd. As Mother Teresa said, "I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there."

...And yet you devote much of your time to radiating negativity in the form of paranoid conspiracy theory. I'm not saying you haven't done good work (you have), but I am suggesting it may be healthier to focus your attention on that which is pure and good.

How can you say I'm "radiating negativity in the form of paranoid conspiracy theory" AND "good work?" If it's good work, it's not paranoid, negative, or theory.

Would you tell the Jews during the holocaust "it may be healthier to focus your attention on that which is pure and good?" Would you tell a meditating monk getting kicked in the face to try and keep meditating?

I think I "get" your point about focusing on the positive (which I do very often) but I hope you get my point about recognizing the negative... it's not paranoid or theory to catalog the evils of the world. Peace

Well, Gandhi DID advise the Jews not to use World War II as a pretext for an invasion of Palestine; as I recall, he argued that such aggression would open them up to postwar criticisms from which they would otherwise be immune...
HOWEVER, the question of whether or not to popularize the proofs of a conspiracy (and to effectively sow the paranoia resultant) is somewhat different, and I guess I'm not really certain one way or the other what I would do if possessed by the damning evidence you've collected...
Anyways, regardless of the direction your future inquiries take, I am glad to have someone as astute as you on "our" side. Good luck, Eric.
