US Veterans Throw Away Their War Medals

Thanks to Annette for sharing this moving and inspirational video taken during a Memorial Day march outside the NATO summit where over 40 Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans threw away their medals in protest of America's unnecessary wars. These hired killers just went from zeros to heroes in my eyes for standing up and speaking out about the murder of our middle-eastern brothers and sisters. As Einstein said, "the pioneers of a warless world are the youth who refuse military service." No matter what Hollywood and the mainstream media say, war is not cool and soldiers are not heroes. War is a racket, and soldiers are government-sponsored, brain-washed, group-think imperial killing machines sent to protect the profits of old men in business suits.

Thank you Eric! This video needs to viral!

The medals were probably made in China...for pennies.

Then "bestowed" on our young American human bodies & souls, as if these cheap pieces of metal makes it worth sacrificing their lives, for those banksters--and their comfortable lavish lifestyles.

Thank you for this post, Eric

This brought a tear to me eye. Just look at any of these vets and imagine it was your brother, sister or child. Even if they were lucky enough to come home alive, they'd never be the same person they were before they left. When you a strong young man struggle to speak as a result of what he's seen and done in war, it really says a lot.

I served for 4 years including a tour to Afghanistan and one to Iraq. I did not agree going over to either one, but once I signed my name I pretty much had no choice but serve or go to jail for treachery. 9/11 is a joke and we had no reason to go over there, but all I did was good for those people. I handed out hundreds of bags of beans and rice, played soccer with tons of kids and overall had a positive experience in both places. The wars are all bullshit, but all we are doing over there is either helping the citizens or defending against militant people who like to put bombs in the middle of the road.

Eric Dubay said...

Your experience may have just been beans and soccer, but I hope you realize the military isn't over there simply to "help citizens and defend against militant people." US soldiers are the "militant people" forcing your way into their country. The folks putting bombs on the road are doing that hoping to blow you back to America where you belong. I would never strap a gun and fly to another country with the ridiculous delusion that me and my gun-toting, skin head, camo-gear group-think, trained killer colleagues were going to "help the citizens." You were there for a nice paycheck and to play make-believe that you're a hero. I'm glad you've realized that 9/11 is a joke and you "didn't agree going over to Iraq and Afghanistan" but, you did go... so you did agree. I don't agree either, so I didn't sign up to be an imperial stormtrooper. I would indeed go to jail before strapping on a gun and invading another country. If you really wanted to help people in Iraq and Afghanistan you'd join the United Way or something, not the military. Again, I'm glad that you feel that "all you did was good for those people" but your comment makes over a million dead Iraqis sound like a mere side-effect of your saintly bean and rice handouts.

@Joe,

Ultimately, you are helping the banksters, the Royals, the Vatican, the Zionists into getting a bigger share of the pie for themselves.

If they didnt devastate so many countries with their contrived wars (and funding both sides!!!) you wouldnt need to be handing out beans and rice to the people--they would be able to grow it themselves, and eat not only just beans and rice.

Now, lets see, if I wanted to push for war, but needed cannon fodder, I would start some propaganda to brainwash any able bodied person into facing death sentences, by "bestowing" "valour" if any of these young folks would be willing and able to bomb & blast people and their land into oblivion.

...yeah, that's the ticket, while writing my own ticket to gain more wealth...

Anonymous said...

...I'm sure the elites who are running the war racket aren't eating beans & rice, nor would they want your help in handing the "cheap" stuff to them.

Anonymous said...

...If you made it back from war alive, we'll toss you this (cheap) piece of plastic & metal & fabric. With pretty colors. And shiny too.

But make sure you take your legal drugs (anti-depressants), and vaccines, and illegal drugs. So you won't remember all the bad things you did to women and children in far away lands, and so you don't live so long that we have to pay your Social Security, and any other "tokens" we promised you. We hope that you will "disappear" quietly.

But we say you are a hero (or whatever you want to hear to boost your little egos) because we just wants the oil, and the poppies, and maybe lithium if we find some way to make $$$ (maybe add it to America's drinking water) and say its good for ya!

We so smart, you so dumb.

I was there! It was such an honor, and incredibly moving to be witness to this. That was quite a day. If we could just get everyone to stop joining military branches, and take the allure out of 'noble' murder, stop romanticizing what it means to go to war and occupy, make the uniform and the medals as unappealing as the horrors they represent... Well, just how do we do that?

The people in Afghanistan that you all are defending beat their kids, sexually abuse them, and treat their women like shit. I know most of you just sit behind a computer and parrot out what other people say but until you actually acquire real life experience you should keep it to your self. I have real life experience that will help me and my family survive. You guys believe in a lot of conspiracies, how bout starting a fake war to train people how to survive in the wake of impending natural disasters as our Earth passes through some rocky space? The US Government knows we are all GOD and we all will live on. The only reason we are here is "humans" keep producing miracles. How many babies is the human race going to have to have to realize that we all are GOD together? Wake up people, I can leave my body through meditation, travel to alternate dimensions, create as many other human beings as I see fit, plant trees, grow my own food, and I have free will to impact this world how I see fit. My dreams have already come true, the key to life is being positive to every one you come in contact with as we are all connected. IF you really want to escape ZION and the conspiracies, turn off the fucking internet and go live in the woods. You are all ignorant to the fact we are ONE. God Bless you all.

The people in Afghanistan do not all beat and sexually abuse their women and children. That is the most ignorant comment of the year. Congratulations G.I. Joe.

The psychic, loving government starting a fake war killing a million brown people to fool a few veterans into learning survival skills?

You emanate it thru your defensiveness in justifying your invasion into Afghanistan.

Yes, you are certainly right we create our own realities, by donning your camo & guns, you are the elite's wettest dreams come true.

And who better to help than a bunch of drugged up, dumbed down, gun-toting, camo-wearing, skin-head, group-think, trained government assassins, right? That'll teach those chai tea drinking sand niggers how to be good husbands. Good plan.

If guns are useful tools in "teaching" people, then every school should be using them to "encourage" students to learn!

Shoot, maybe guns should be pointed at every workers' heads to increase productivity.

How are we negative? Who's the one strapping on guns and invading other countries?
If you run into any opposition, aren't your orders to kill the "opposition"? (I'm sure some of your fellas

rape a few women & girls & boys along the way). You know, that power ego trip, thinking you are the

supreme power.
Sounds like a rather negative approach bringing the guns & bombs if the sole reason was to go there

to bring "p--e--a--c--e" (which is a long stretch).

Throwing the Afghanis some rice & beans is only to boost your ego. If the PTB want to truly really help

other people, they would redirect the money spent on weapons of destruction into tools & technology

of growth.

You are in denial right now, you just can't believe your govt put you up to this. Meaning, you traded your

flesh & blood & life for a pat on the head, and some colorful tokens.
Whos the tard now?

I'm not fat, took one sip of diet coke many moons ago, and wondered who in their right mind would

guzzle that shit.

Eric isnt racist, he was wording it to show that is attitude of the elites towards the brown peoples of the

world. You are grappling for excuses...that's good, you have to hit denial, to advance to higher

consciousness.

This is a great point/question. War has been romanticized and soldiers have been immortalized for too long. All government workers (soldiers, police, politicians etc.) get their paychecks from the tax money stolen from the population by the State. This means that all government employees are being paid with money stolen from their fellow countrymen. This should be seen as dishonorable and embarrassing, and none more embarrassing than those who steal money from us and use it to go kill in our name. Of course the State won't allow that, so they have massive propaganda campaigns set up to ensure that everyone thinks police and soldiers are the coolest shit ever. What are two of the most common occupations by the hero of any TV show or Hollywood movie? The idea that State enforcement agents are super rad bad ass heroes is force-fed to us constantly. It takes some morally consistent introspection to see through the facade of the "hero soldier/police."

We're only trying to make you see so you don't get infatuated and lured in to doing other's dastardly deeds, I know your intentions are good, but you got to see how the tricksters in this world manipulate people. How else could they get you to give up your life & conscientiousness?

I've learned a lot of tricks used growing up with a psychopath :)

I'm good, I've achieved a higher consciousness through meditation. When you get on my level and can leave your body then you will understand too. The universe knows I am a strong person it can depend on as I've been through war. Although I signed up for the army in ignorance looking for an experience, I am not ashamed of my service. My soul will carry on and I already know I'm blessed. I give myself up to the universe to bring peace and light and stories of my troubles. When I was in the army they drugged me up with Zoloft until I detoxed myself and realized the truth: we have infinite power as free willed humans. My experience has already helped everyone that I come into contact with. Sometimes a person needs to go through Hell to bring people to heaven. I hope you all experience the joy and love I have in my heart now and stop the negative judgements. God bless you all.

Eric Dubay said...

I'm glad to hear you're consciousness has been raised above the level of unwitting assassin and you're out exploring the astral worlds. As for judgement, judgements are simply opinions, and everyone is entitled to theirs. For example, your judgement of me, a healthy raw vegan as being a "fat tard," is your opinion. It is my opinion that calling people "fat tards" then telling them to "stop the negative judgements" is hypocritical. These are both judgements and we're entitled to them. We judge all day every day whether to cross the street, to go left or right, which food to eat, which clothes to wear... there's nothing wrong with judgement and you're not going to escape negativity by deluding yourself with all that spiritual jargon. Here's my creative collage of your enlightened comments thus far:

All I did was good for those people. I've achieved a higher consciousness through meditation. I am a strong person. I am not ashamed of my service. I already know I'm blessed. Yes Joe, you said the things I was going to say, but it got kindof late. You had to experience war so you can see the other side, and you chose to come towards the light seeing it's not entirely right--something is amiss.

Hope it will in some ways rub off on your fellow soldiers too.
The wars are not for "saving" other countries women & children, nor for bringing "peace".

Like I said earlier, TPTB could have used that billions of dollars spent on bullets & bombs & DU (which is a byproduct of nuclear power plants, and Queen Lizard owns plutonium sources), and used it to develop sustainable farming, water ways (wasnt Qadaffi starting that?) and free housing, and free quality healthcare for all, and free quality education for all (again, didnt Qadaffi accomplish that) and look what the Zionists did to Qadaffi & Libya...

How is the state of Libya now? a mess...Sounds like war with Libya bombed its once prosperous life for its people back into the stone ages. Yeah, such is the BULLSHIT propaganda that War is Peace. If "they" repeat it enough, it sounds true, no?

Me...
...I like the way Eric see's this. The government/government payed industries only exist because of American tax. Police, military, Feds, congress, federal reserve, border patrol, teachers, and a few others would not be able to earn a living without money/wealth taken from the people.

So really, how can we get them to realize that they cannot live off of real workers, abuse their titles, and get away with it? The question is, what good change/influence can we/people do towards this? Well its quite simple...

Now the only reason they still exist is because they have a good enough image for a majority of people to overlook it and not do anything (like Joe said,"God bless you all, you fat lazy Americans. Turn off the fucking internet, You are all ignorant fat tards''.) HAHA he's got an indirect point. As a majority American every day occurence, we simply arent going about this in a indestructable way. Here's something we can do, if done properly...

PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS ARE ENCOURAGED: We can ramble on about tax-payed workers abusing their purpose(then, ask people questions like: what's the purpose of that job? Get them thinking). By doing that, we can grow an awareness that there are problems with these industries. Then as awareness increases, we can remind aware people around us that we own these industries. Remind people that we can come together and demand change or in a worste case scenario, overthrow the industries and recreate new systems(will have to happen eventually).

The Occupy movement to me was like a last resort experiment of the immortal American hunger for freedom. It failed mostly because there wasnt enough awareness.
However our struggle is not done yet and will continue forever.

Just like these veterans and the real occupy protesters, we must detach from our every day fears and be open to throwing away this life for something more important than our bodies. This qoute expresses what i mean... “Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.”
― Bill Hicks

Awareness is spreading and its inevitable that if we try, it will not be in vain. I dont mean to sound corny but we can do this. There is only our own will power stopping us from getting things done. Other than that people are invincible. ''Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof-V

You're right. The New Age overly-optimistic, non-confrontational, love and light denial people, The pessimistic cynical defeatist downer foregone conclusion people, and The apathetic materialist selfish ego-centric what-can-one-person-do? people are all the very people standing in their own way of creating the kind of lives/lifestyles necessary to uproot the current system.
