Video of SWAT Raid on Missouri Family

In February SWAT broke into a home, fired seven rounds at a family’s pit bull and corgi while their seven-year-old looked on. They found a small amount of marijuana, enough for a misdemeanor. The parents were then charged with child endangerment. So smoking pot = “child endangerment.” Storming a home with guns, then firing bullets into the family pets as a child looks on = "necessary police procedures to ensure everyone’s safety." Just so we’re clear.

Now there’s video, which you can watch above. It’s horrifying, but I’d urge you to watch it, and to send it to the drug warriors in your life. This is the blunt-end result of all the war imagery and militaristic rhetoric politicians have been spewing for the last 30 years — cops dressed like soldiers, barreling through the front door in the middle of the night, slaughtering the family pets, filling the house with bullets in the presence of children, then having the audacity to charge the parents with endangering their own kid. There are 100-150 of these raids every day in America, the vast, vast majority like this one, to serve a warrant for a consensual crime.

Dear lord that is awful. Those cops are surely methed up, that one giving orders is majorly hyper the way speed makes one.

In my youth, ie the 60's and early '70's, I was actively involved in more cop "friendly visits" than is decent to relate. Each time, you answered the door and standing there with a smile of some sort was the head cop in a SUIT, holding out a warrant and introducing himself and announcing the purpose of the visit. Of course there were cops posted at each side of the house watching for escapees. But they were regular uniform cops with their gun in the holster.

I will tell you of one particular situation. One visit, on the kitchen table was a large box of Cheerios. My heart was banging but I managed a coolish demeanor and continued washing the dishes while Detective Waddell sat at the kitchen table making light conversation about how a lovely young girl like myself could surely lead a better life than the one I was living then.

I could hear his men rooting around the house and finally they came down, having found nothing, they departed. Not even a drawer left open!

When I was sure I was alone, I looked over at the box of Cheerios, relieved that Waddell had not dipped his hand into the box for a bite. He might have found the 2000 purple microdots (LSD) in there.

It was the mixing of police and military that did it. Drugs are illegal for many reasons. Once I was naive enough to think they would make good tax money on it, but now I realize illegally they make so much more. As the CIA grew, so did the drug trade. And now here we are.

Pot was illegalized because its versatility challenged the profit line of several big companies.

The gas/oil companies were threatened. It is not widely known that the first Model T ran on hemp oil.

Du Pont Chemicals was threatened because pot was versatile in use for many of their chemical products including varnish.

The logging companies were against it because pot reaches maturity in a very short time compared to a tree, does not damage the ecosystem, and makes stronger paper. All paper monies are made on hemp paper because of its strength.

I am not sure where the rope and fabric aspect comes in but you can be sure there were threats there.

But the BIG threat was to Big Pharma. The news was that the AMA (American Medical Association) was about to approve of the use of marijuana for various purposes. Within 3 weeks the above cabal had organized a campaign about the benign herb.

Hearst took care of the propaganda. An example. A very drunk (of course black) musician had a car crash in which he and two white women were killed. Nothing was mentioned of his condition but 3 marijuana cigarettes were in his wallet! You know the rest.

They also keep it illegal because, like the amaritis muscaria, it opens up psychic doors for the seekers among us. It shows worlds of thought and visions, enhances life and that just cannot be allowed. This may seem small, but it is a very huge component of breaking the human spirit and removing religion as a source of strength for the hoi polloi.

Actions such as those in this film are those of a "leadership" desperate to micromanage a populace for one reason or another. Getting their hands on the child could also be a component. Damn them all.
