Occupy Wall Street - The Pros of Contest & The Cons of Protest

Let me start by thanking and congratulating all the activists who have given their time, energy, health, and freedom to help raise awareness and put a wrench in the works of Wall Street. Sit-ins and occupations of government/corporate/financial districts truly can be effective and have the potential to create massive societal change. If the Stock Exchange were forced to close for an extended period of time, think of the socio-economic implications. If Congress were forced to close for an extended period of time, think of the socio-political implications. The establishment is well-aware of the power of mass people's protests and that is why they quickly quell all such uprisings using police and provocateurs.

It is always the same story. Peaceful protests are starting to attract attention even though the mainstream media refuses to mention them. Police and provocateurs are sent out to encircle and infiltrate the crowd, break it up and start making arrests. Things get violent, many innocent people are injured, killed, or put behind bars, the guilty police officers get slaps on the wrists in public and pats on the back in private. Currently the world's governments and populations are re-enacting this drama ad nauseum and it's always the people who lose. As I said, mass protests have the potential to create social/economic/political change, but almost never does it actually manifest, because first an "internal renaissance," a mass awakening and deprogramming must precede the external revolution. Until then, the government robo-cops will just keep running their auto-programming and maintain the status-quo through violence and institutionalized injustice.

I have never personally attended a protest nor do I ever plan on it, because I know exactly what would happen if I did: My family/friends and I would be peacefully occupying the streets when some heavily-armed, brain-washed, ego-tripping, uniform-wearing, government thug decides to push, punch, pepper spray, taze, grapple or otherwise physically assault me or my friends/family. Now, I have never and would never initiate the use of violence against another person, but, the second someone initiates the use of violence against me or my loved ones, I have and will always go absolutely fucking bezerk, mouth-foaming, and Incredible Hulk-style hospitalize every blue uniform in sight until some over-zealous, trigger-happy, robo-rookie shoots me in the back of the head... thus ending my occupation of both Wall Street and the world at large. It would be a waste of my life, but this is normal behavior. It's called self-defense, and I almost never see it amongst these effeminate hippie protest types impotently chanting "shame on you" while innocent, defenseless women are being beaten and dragged away.

The Native Americans were a very peaceful people, had no formal government, currency, or even the conception of private property or possessions. They welcomed Christopher Columbus with open arms, swimming out to the Spanish ships bearing offerings of food and clothing on their backs. However, when the Europeans began genocidally murdering entire tribes, raping their women, and taking their children into slavery, word quickly spread to other tribes and no more was the white man met with open arms and alms, but rather with bows, arrows, and hatchets. The Natives began brutally fighting back, attacking European encampments, and collecting the scalps of western invaders. Do you blame them? What would you do if hoards of offshore parasites came to your home, murdered your brothers, raped your sisters, and made slaves of your children? Would you walk around hanging peace banners, making witty placards, and singing folk songs, or would you violently defend your home from the violent invaders?

Watching these countless protest videos full of police brutality, watching women and children getting beaten and arrested, I can't help but think, "where are all the men!?" I see over-weight government lackeys in tacky blue uniforms assaulting defenseless women. I see under-weight hippie peace-nicks in tie-dye chanting annoying cliches. All of them male homo-sapiens, but not a single red-blooded man amongst them. If men are really going to attempt to occupy Wall Street, Washington, or wherever, they should first leave the women, children and false pretenses at home. If you're going to make a stand in the street against the offshore international bankster parasites, then what place is there for peace signs, banners, and music? If you're really going to attempt an occupation, then band together a group of real men wearing full body armor carrying bullet-proof shields, then occupy the streets and let it be known that you will not initiate the use of violence, but if physically assaulted in any way, you will all defend yourselves to the death. Now that's an occupation guaranteed to produce social change, but where are such noble warriors ready for this task in today's society?

How quick would these cops be to initiate the use of force and arrest innocents if they knew that the second they did, the entire peaceful crowd would instantly go ape-shit into barbarian self-defense mode attacking and hospitalizing every uniformed thug that dare lay a hand on them? The people outnumber the police at least 10 to 1. If there were any real men at these protests, I guarantee the cops would stand down. In fact, they might not even come to work that day. In fact, they might stop coming to work everyday and realize that their real enemy is the faceless criminal State that bosses them around and pays their salaries with stolen money.

As I said at the beginning, I thank and congratulate all the protesters for coming out, and I don't mean to belittle or undermine their well-meaning activism. I'm just pointing out that regardless of what the government and corporate media claim, police officers ARE above the law, and this is made explicitly clear in every case of police brutality I've ever seen. You get broken bones, fines, incarceration, and months of legal proceedings; meanwhile the officer gets 2 weeks paid holiday "suspension." So unless you want to grease those wheels of government injustice with your time, energy, health, and freedom, until you're ready to fight to the death, I'd recommend you just stay at home blogging about anarchy or otherwise creatively fighting to educate and free people's minds instead of getting beaten up and arrested at these unsuccessful half-assed attempts in the streets.

hahaha !!! excellent !! where are the men ? i get as stark raving mad as you, as a matter of fact i get so mad if i get cornerded unfairly or if my loved ones are endangered or attacked that i actually start seeing through a red haze of anger ...and then i know i will kill somebody ...therefore i refrain from goiing to such protests exactly as you put it .... i was a cop many decades ago and they do these things and the evil rulers have brainwashed them to harm anybody ...then there are the paid instigators to contend with ....no we need to get these (the cops) awakened so that they will also turn against their evil "handlers"
keep up the good work, i know you wont get deterred !!

/agree with that! I chatted with a few of them and they were talking about how 'they might be fileing a class-action lawsuit against
Tony Bonogna maybe? Well... they certainly did not defend those women... They could at least all go down to the courthouse and say: "I saw xxxx commit crime against yyyy, I have witnesses, I have evidence, I swear to God." Every person in those streets with eyes could have done that!! They are all mad for different specific reasons, but do not realize that the causes of them are all the same... and that they are all pissed off at the same few people. WE NEED FREE-MEN AND WOMEN AND ANYONE ELSE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT TRUST LAW OR SOVERIGNTY DOWN THERE TEACHING IN MY OPINION!! I live across the country and want to go participate for a week just to try to share info about Dean Clifford, Marc Stevens, etc. etc. and let these people know how to dismantle this corrupt system from the inside out!

Thanks for the comments guys. I was checking out your channel the other day Robbie, you've got some great stuff on there. Writing this article made me think of this great song, it should be the soundtrack to the Occupy Wall St. protests:

Flaming Lips - The Fight Test

I am all for people protesting for what they believe in and I too feel the way you do about protecting my fellow man, but the majority of the people that are protesting are still blinded by false teachings.(also cursing the cops is provocation and not peaceful) Many of those present may not even realize what true capitalism could be if it didn't have evil and blind men running the show. You are correct that there needs to be an inner change before any true changes can be made. Hopefully, what is going on now on Wallstreet to those protestors will bring about questions in the minds of millions of Americans about what is going on and why we are here. These questions are what bring about a true awakening. Peace and Love.

Before everyone jump into the bandwagon of organized protests and rebellion and the American, "spring" that has been transferred from Arabia, let us take a moment and consider what we are really doing.

Is it of anyone's benefit that we strike and protest to no avail? And occupying Wall Street will resolve nothing. The new elites of conspiracy theorists are the new shepherds (who are not really new) who are guiding the people into a frenzy of utter confusion and desperation. I would not support this radical Occupy Wall Street movement and the 99% Movement either.

Peaceful or not, this movement by protesting alone has been co-opted and is being pulled by the elites on both sides - conspiracy mainstream and the Global Elite mainstream. We have to go beyond protesting, and mass rebellion, reaction, and buying into these false protests that solve nothing.

A truly awoken person would never take part, support, or hate the elites. He or she would be in the moment, watching and waiting, and not be taken by the whirlwind of confusion and reactivity that the Occupy Wall Street, the Arab Spring, and many other protest movements in the past has consummated the masses into paranoia and paralysis.

If you dont think the banks are cashing in on the scams of the Illuminati, then consider this....

Wachovia = Watch Ova Ya
Watch Ova Ya = Watch Over You
Watch Over You = Big Brother

Illuminati symbolism is in the names and artwork of everything it owns!!!

never open a bank account, you will just be giving your money to the illuminati. keep your money in your own safe place.

You talk about an internal change before external change which I absolutely agree with. However, you then go on to talk about the need for 'red blooded' men and 'noble warriors'... Violence will only give 'them' an excuse to use violence against you, with the support of those not yet awake. I appreciate you want to protect your friends and family, but I would have thought the first step towards 'enlightenment' is the understanding of love. This does not include violence. Women and children and men all need to come together for real change, in the understanding we are equal. It seems you would like to keep them locked up nice and safe (probably with the 'effeminate hippies')while you go and solve the problems... At least this movement is encourgaing people to think, to realise they are not alone. To become aware of the other protests happening around the world at this time. This can spark personal awakening, it allows people to imagine a new reality. You have to act to create change, within yourself and your 'reality'. Internet action is easy. Changing your life is hard. Publicly and peacefully stating you disagree with the system is hard. I am not sure if this movement is the right thing to be doing, or how/if it is being controlled, but I feel it is a hopeful thing. I respect that you are discussing things as you see them and I hope you will not be offended with by my disagreement.

Peace

Thanks for the comment Anonymous. I wasn't "talking about the need" for red-blooded noble warriors but rather giving a fresh example of something other than this worn-out consistently failed approach of beating drums, hoisting placards, and chanting for change. No amount of witty placards and marching around is going to create the kind of holistic and lasting change necessary... so what's the point? As you mentioned such protests may "help spark personal awakening," but again, I think most people just shrug, change the channel, and go about their days as usual.

I agree about non-violence too, but you're missing my important point about self-defense. The red-blooded noble warriors in my example do NOT initiate violence and make that perfectly clear before-hand... however, like any creature, they most certainly will violently protect themselves from violent attackers. How would you suggest to peacefully defend yourself from violence anonymous? If someone is beating you, kicking you, punching you, choking you to death, tell me how you would go about peacefully defending yourself.

I think people have watched too much "Passion of the Christ" or Ben Kingsley's "Gandhi" and are starting to think it's virtuous to allow people to beat the shit out of you. It's absolutely natural and virtuous to fight back when someone initiates violence against you or your loved ones. Look at any animal in nature. They will do the same. You won't see a mother lion allowing some hyena to make a martyr out of her cubs. Only humans could be so cowardly. If all those lame innocent bystander extras in "The Passion" and "Gandhi" stood up for what was right, we wouldn't have had to watch Jim Caviezal and Ben Kingsley get beaten so relentlessly. Peace (until someone initiates violence against you or your loved ones)

People who torture animals (children, women) usually do so on docile creatures, not vicious bigger creatures that bite back.

If you're going to make a statement, dont hurt yourSELF (setting yourself on fire, starving yourself, cutting off your fingers, etc.).

Instead, take down the enemy at their weak points, while preerving your strength and physical & mental & emotional integrity :)

I used to be picked on growing up, (being the only minority, being a girl, being smaller than other students) I got punched, and kicked, my hair pulled, IN THE CLASSROOM and on the schoolbus by other students in the presence of teachers!
Who did nothing. I've been in fights too, but found that when you speak up and confront your opponent, they always back down, or try to enlist their cronies to join in. I wasnt your typically little chinese girl, and not your typical nerd. :)

I only found out by standing your ground and striking at your opponents weak points do they stand back (because they are pathetic little bullies to begin with.)

I've read on globalresearch.ca that the Occupy Wall Street movement has long be co-opted, and it is deliberately engineered to, "balance" the other co-opted and corporate-funded Tea Party movement. In other words, any time any one tries to rebel or resist - it is futile. Either you end up being killed, beaten, and subpoenaed, or you get co-opted, bribed, and sold into the system.

All resistance is futile.

Much respect to all of you. I only hope that more and more join and bring a much deserved change in America. It is time that we change the status quo and fight for equality and a country that belongs to the people not the rich or those with the most influence. I think its time to wake up from the "american dream" and make it a reality.

I'm just bored and want to leave a comment, but I like to hear both sides of the story, I am for the protest but the brutality seems too open, is this by any chance true or is it another Boston massacre, ah whatever keep strong and don't be oppressed but until I see things for myself I shall not judge. Keep commenting don't let hate consume you and remember to forgive
