Spiritual Science Promo Video

I just finished making this promotional video for the new book. Please have a look and do me a favor by sharing it with anyone you think might be interested. The pictures used and concepts explored are all from Spiritual Science and the books presented are among those researched/quoted in the making of it. And yes, the book is just as epic as the music :)

some interesting books, and is cool to know you have completed a book. It takes LOTS of effort. I seem to expend a lot of effort just doing a blog lol
One book I am currently re-reading very carefully that you might add to your list is The Cosmic Serpent by Jeremy Narby. In that book he very much is going through a difficult intense journey--after his experience of drinking ayahuasca with indigenous people--to reconcile what he knows of science with what the Indian healers tell him. It is really amazing the insights he has, and ALSO the presuppositions. For example, at the beginning of book (I have forgotten if he changes his mind at the later part.) he is a bit down on LSD, and terms it a 'Pseudo hallucinogenic', in comparison with organic hallucinogenic plants etc. Well, later he says how he began looking deeper into the discoveries of DNA and how this relates to the indigenous 'spirits' who communicate with them via plants. What he doesn't realize--at least then when writing the book-- is that DNA came about qwith inspiration from LSD. LOL

Hey Muz, thanks for the message. I actually own Narby's Cosmic Serpent book and I've read it twice. I didn't quote it in Spiritual Science but it's influence is surely in there. Peace

One of the great things I like about this video is that it portrays a lot of inspirational message on a solemn note.

Is ‘Science & Health’ in your extensive library collection?

You know…since we are talking about metaphysics and all. Whatever the case, I look forward to picking this up sometime soon. Thanks!

Thanks Knowledgeislightweight. I googled "Science and Health" and nothing is coming up. I assume this is a book title recommendation? All that came up was "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Eddy, is that the book you mean? Anyway, I've received only positive reviews so far, I'm sure you won't be disappointed! Peace

That would be the one!

It is worth a read...atleast one time through...even with the 'new age' stigma surrounding Christian Science. You are seemingly up to speed on the topic of consciousness, religion, spirituality, God and the like...so I thought there would be plenty to gleen from that book...regardless of the "religious" ties that it has.

Not many people out there touting that matter does not exist and that nothing is external to consciousness.

Hopefully the wifey will free a few bucks out of the trust fund to pick up your new work.

Much love!

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. It's not that "matter doesn't exist" but rather, as you pointed out, that "nothing is external to consciousness." When you wake up, it's not that the people, places and events of your dream didn't "exist" but rather that they were all One... the seemingly separate people, places and events in the dream were actually all You!

This world is like God's dream and we're all method acting our lives through our karma. Consciousness is the primary mindstuff of the universe (the creator) and materiality is secondary (the creation). At the level of pure consciousness, we are all One, Objective, God. But in this dualistic material universe of good/evil, male/female, dark/light, day/night our consciousness is subjective and divided. Space, time, and matter hide us from the under-laying reality that there is no separation and that all of creation and the creator are One. So in this sense, all space, time and matter are illusory... but the physical world is also as "real" as it gets, so writing life off as one big illusion, as some do, is also a cop-out.

Anyway, I can and have already gone on about that topic at length in the book. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it if wifey let's you tap into the trust fund :)
