Oh man, this is spot on. TV is the ultimate brainwash tool in the world. I heard an old man when I was a kid say "the most dangerous weapon in the world is sitting in everyone's living room" he meant the television.

I've seen how hypnotic it can be. Just watch someone while they are glued to the TV. This happened to me numerous times, being unable to talk to someone while they are watching TV cause they are so glued.

I used to be a big fan of sports as a kid. I watched basketball and football, and I can tell you this right now. If anyone thinks sports in America are not manipulated in a certain way, they are lying to themselves. Sports is basically reality TV. It is manipulated too, and rigged in times. If you asked me what is the most rigged sport in America, I'll tell you Basketball. Hell, even the sacred national religion NFL is rigged to a degree. Most people know this, but they deny it, and just don't want to believe it and continue to watch.

The one thing that makes this dangerous is people believing what they see in movies and shows and so on. Example is those movies based on historical facts. Have you ever seen a Hollywood made film that is 100% accurate to the real thing? I can tell you I never have, but it don't stop the masses from thinking that's the real thing "I seen it in this movie! You're wrong!".

I don't hate television, I'd be a hypocrite if I said I do. I don't watch it though. Every now and then I'll watch an old movie every 2 or 3 weeks. I do like playing video games, not going to lie there. But the TV don't absorb me. I can entertain myself playing the guitar or drawing, or better yet reading a book, which I do more than anything. That's the problem I have with television. it tells you what to think, rather your imagination running wild.

Your blog has been very useful to me Mr. Eric. I enjoy your stuff, it's a great learning experience.

Thanks so much Gary for all the comments. I haven't had a chance to reply to each one, but I totally vibe with your viewpoint on each post you've commented. Thanks again for the support and encouragement! Peace

I should let you email me, and we trade emails if you want to talk sometime about these sort of topics.

I've been taking the time everyday to read your blog and always find something useful that makes me want to write myself. It's a great thing to see that I've not been crazy all these years and people do agree with my beliefs such as the Alex jones stuff, you really got me there. I been telling people for over 3 years that guy is a joke and not to listen to him. I thought I was the only one that could see through him for a long time.
