Thomas Sheridan's Labyrinth of the Psychopath

Thomas Sheridan wrote a fascinating book called "Puzzling People: Labyrinth of the Psychopath" and has been getting lots of attention for it lately. In it he breaks down the psychology of these individuals (known as psychopaths, sociopaths, or narcissists) who literally feel no remorse for their actions, feel no empathy for others, and have devoted their lives to personal gain. They are essentially predators and parasites that strive for power and control above all things. In the book and interviews above, Thomas Sheridan explores the common traits of psychopaths ranging from the microcosm of the individual to the macrocosm of the big brother society increasingly being set up by all the psychopaths heading our governments, think tanks, and mega-corporations. Check out the interviews above, his excellent YouTube channel and blog for much more.

Psycopath, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Jezebel Syndrome.
Had to grow up with one--my mother.

My GFs father fits the bill completely, no remorse, no empathy, chronic liar/adulterer, passive-aggressive, uses pity, creates false personas, more concerned about strangers than family. It's creepy but important to understand as Thomas Sheridan said, that 1 in 25 people is a psychopath. That means 4% of humanity has no empathy/compassion, which inevitably creates a predator class among us, people that look and act like the other 96% but inside they feel absolutely no empathic connection to humanity or the suffering of others. This 4% rises to the top of our governments, corporations, and other organizations thanks to their psychopathy, they became incredibly adept predator/parasites.

As an abused person I fit some of the identifiers — mysterious past; when I do share it, sob story; occasional overreaction, misdirected anger.

I think it's important not to accuse someone of being a psychopath on the basis of one or two identifiers — in fact that's something a psychopath might do to undermine a person.

I'm not saying that's what anyone above is doing. I just to stress caution.

I invite you to spend a day with my mother, see if you last 5 minutes...

1 in 25 people:

World Psychopath Population = 277 million.

NOT just 13 families.

Thomas Sheridan exhibits many of the traits of a psychopath himself. Check out this article

Absolute smear campaign via Laura and SOTT - it's an absolute disgrace. Many people I have spoken with about SOTTs conduct have seen the truth of the situation from beginning to the present and the general consensus is - give us terrible smut humour from a man who said he was nothing else but human, over a Ouija Board Channeler who considers herself to be the 'light of the world' but yet has the most insidious past. Stones and glass houses? It seems as though Laura were almost trying to distract the masses from her own issues with the French Police. Projection springs to mind as the motivation behind this attack on Thomas.

Regardless of your opinions of Mr.Sheridan, everyone is entitled to one, there has been a deviation that has endangered survivors of abuse by naming and sharing personal information on SOTT, and what seems to a total disregard for others welfare, shame on you!

I would like to retract my above comment, SOTT were actually correct. After spending time with Sheridan over the course of a few days it became clear as day that the Man is not empathic as he claims, nor is he connected on any kind of consciencious level. I would like to take this oppotunity to apologise to SOTT for my 'defending a sacred cow' I had believed him to be a friend but in fact he was nothing more than a cheap conman, by his own definition he is psychopathic.

Mr. Sheridan himself displays some of his descriptions of a psychopath....he is very arrogant and full of self importance......

we live in very troubling times so many distractions from the visible world....

if someone displays ALL of the symptoms it is a very difficult to live with...compassion is a necessary tool....it is something Mr.Sheridan and his merry gang need to work on....

You do realize you sound like a lunatic calling someone a 'sacred cow' in the first place.
If anyone approached me in that vain I would be standoffish with them. Maybe your intensity was a deterrent and as a result he came off as arrogant or self involved to you as he didn't want to be around you.
Most people are narcissistic at the best of times. He never claimed to be an answer he just has an opinion like anyone else.
The article on SCOTT is a smear - its easy to get suckered into because people think that everything in scott is legit.
Firstly SCOTT agrees that his first book and research is relevant.
Then they disagree with his second book, pulling random one liners from his book, persevering the context and telling us what he means.
Thirdly the Facebook comments:
In general Thomas uses a very traditional form of irish comedic sarcasm. This comes through in his writing, his standup comedy (yes ladies and gentlemen he does standup- its not his strong point though ha) and in interviews.
SCOTT is persevering the context in how or what exactly Sheriden is replying too. There is clearly alot of manipulation in the writing of this article and disinformation. I could go on and on and dissect the whole smear campaign...
Fact is their evidence including random inserts of his supposed writing has no links or proof of where it came from.
I challenge anyone to familiarize yourself with some of Sheridans and objectively read the scott article again.
People should be judged by the fruit of there labour

Hey, good points ALMACC, I've been following Sheridan's work for over 3 years now and I still enjoy and benefit from hearing what he has to say. The SOTT article has some interesting points but overall it seems more like defamation than anything else. Keep up the good work Thomas!
