American Drug War

35 years after Nixon started the war on drugs, we have over one million non-violent drug offenders living behind bars. The War on Drugs has become the longest and most costly war in American history. The question has become, how much more can the country endure? Inspired by the death of four family members from "legal drugs" Texas filmmaker Kevin Booth sets out to discover why the Drug War has become such a big failure. Three and a half years in the making, the film follows gang members, former DEA agents, CIA officers, narcotics officers, judges, politicians, prisoners and celebrities. American Drug War shows how money, power and greed have corrupted not just drug pushers and dope fiends, but an entire government. More importantly, it shows what can be done about it.

This whoe show 'the world' can leave you speechless because it is So stupid--what else can you say?

It is like you can see it as plain as day but the politics show with the dumb suits and dumb media and dumb ads and celbrity shit 'reality' shows where they'll virtually eat shit with rats crawlin uyp their arses to keep their faces on A screen, and ALl this crap is just---insane. But not 'insane' as the priests of this dumb civilization will make you believe where they claim that the brain NEEDS THEIR chemicals, or convulsive electricity (can you IMAGINE?? THIS dumbfuck lot 'helping you' hahahaha). NO! Insanse as in totally devoid of any COMMONsense.

We have been cut off from entheogenic sacred medicine. THAt is the real problem. The rest is a cacophony of disconnected body language and clatter of Orwellian speech from a madhatters teaparty

The world is meant to be unfixable. Because it is just a whole illusion - and the appearance of problems and crises just APPEARS to validate the shallow, merciless, painful 3D-5-senses even more.

I say, Wisdom and Freedom from the illusion is more important than clinging onto this illusory problem of the, "war on [fill in your favourite, preferred enemy of choice]."

No the WORLD of the '5 senses' isn't illusion it is very real. What is illusion is the 'world' imposed on it by the propaganderists, be they religious, philosophical, political, 'scientific'.

Sacred Medicine when understood and used intelligently and with love CAN help in the direct seeing of the illusory 'world' made by the patriarchal warrior mindset which says 'war is peace' and other Orwellian delusional doublespeak nonesense.
At the same time you also see directly the awesome MYSTERY of the REAL natural world.

I don't have anything against natural remedies, but it's completely preposterous to suggest that the advances made by the "priests of this dumb civilization" are worthless.

Do you have any idea how many once-crippling diseases are now either manageable or completely curable? It is thanks to the "dumbfuck lot" that (at least in the developed countries) we can now expect to see old age.

How many people back when we used "sacred medicine" lived to be 60-70 years old? What's the life expectancy in the undeveloped countries today where that's still all they have? How many people do you personally know who are alive today because of breakthrough advances in medical science? I can think of many in my life.

Looks to me like the dumbfucks might be on to something.

Yes there ARE many old people living in homes at this time in their NINETIES no doubt being kept breathing by a cupboard full of pills and lotions--is that progress? What about QUALITY of life?

And isn't it a myth to say that our ancestors all died young? I have heard different. by the way in that post I was speciflically referring to the psychiatric profession and how they understand and 'treat' 'mental illness'.

Of course I am not writing off knowledge and skill acquired in modern times, but you must admit that we need a BALANCE. That entheogens for example have been and continue to be prohibited....? yes?
